On March 12, 2015 – Kenney’s Team participated in the Walk-A-Mile-in-Her-Shoes Event at Downtown Orlando for the second year in a row. The Kenney Team won an award for “Best Team Spirit” and raised $1,900 for the charity.

This Easter season, Kenney Communications was honored to donate a total of 120 Easter Baskets to children across the tri-county area — Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties! We’re so grateful for the opportunity to spread a little joy and bring smiles to local kids' faces. These past two months, Kenney’s own Brenda Spencer received praise from two different tourism boards! Brenda received the International Drive Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador of the Month for February 2025. This award recognizes tourism representatives who show outstanding dedication to elevating our destination by exceeding expectations. Brenda won Ambassador of the Month previously in June 2022. The HSMAI Central Florida Board also chose to celebrate Brenda at their March 2025 luncheon for her dedication. From their LinkedIn post: "We are always thrilled to connect and support each other in this industry. Brenda not only shows up but continuously supports many associations, making a significant impact. We were incredibly happy to have her join us and connect with the HSMAI team.” As our Hotel Relations Representative, Brenda is a crucial part of the Kenney Communications Team. She deserves to be honored for all of her hard work and dedication to Central Florida Tourism. Way to go, Brenda! 👏👏👏
